These products are made from the finest English lavender oil, grown on the south slopes of the Mendip Hills with its own microclimate in Somerset.
This lavender, carefully grown in Axbridge, has a distinctive aroma and is the fusion of seven different English lavenders grown in our field. Many people have been involved in producing the lavender and the products with great care.
In times gone by, the field was farmed as a strawberry field. All the fields around were growing strawberries and there was a smell of strawberries which hung in the air over the Cheddar Valley at a certain time of the year.
Now there is English lavender and the air is full of the aroma in the summer. We shall open the field in June, July and August to the public so that they can enjoy the field and the view.
